The Village of Chickasaw water system was originally known as the Neighborhood Water Company. In 2002 the Village of Chickasaw purchased the water system from Neighborhood Water Company and in 2019 a new water tower, and plant were built. This then took the water tower from the middle of town out to the back of the Marion Industrial Park.
